CLARA and PETER: The Turtles of YouTube!

CLARA and PETER: The Turtles of YouTube!

By: Lovely Del Mundo

It is possible that a world in which sea turtles cannot survive may soon become a world in which humans struggle to survive. If, however, we learn from our mistakes and begin changing our behaviour, there is still time to save sea turtles from extinction. In the process, we will be saving one of the Earth’s most mysterious and time honoured creatures. We might just be saving ourselves too. (Source: http://www.conserveturtles.org)

Like humans, animals have their own communication skills too. They have their own feelings. They also have thoughts regarding everything under the sun. They can feel annoyed. They can also feel happiness. They can even act on a YouTube Video! Who says only humans can act and  be a Youtuber?!

Clara and Peter

CLARA – Female and the bigger turtle
PETER – Male and the smaller turtle

Turtles are known to be slow but Peter changed my thoughts about it. Turtles like him can be fast. HAHA! Peter and Clara have their own personalities too. Clara seems to be the spoiled and dominant one while Peter is the child-like and active one. I didn’t experience having a turtle as a pet before but if I have given a chance to have one I’ll take it as my pet. I think they’re easier to keep than dogs. Peter and Clara are so cute and  adorable creature. They need more love from you, humans! ^^

The man behind these Turtle videos is no other than, Mr. Raymond Halim.

He liked my blogs so I got this chance to discover his Blogsite. I’ve read his Life Quotes blog and really think it’s inspiring. To know the title also of the Blogsite is “Encouraging Life” has a positive vibes so I decided to follow it. Eventually, I discovered his Turtle Videos too. Raymond is dedicated in making videos for Clara and Peter (his turtle pets). It’s really good to know that someone makes videos about turtles and even make scripts for them. I think it’s admirable. (Hey, I know how hard to shoot a video! It’s even a challenge because the actors are turtles!) Aside from that, I also love Raymond’s Travel Photography. I mean, this person has an amazing travelling life.  His photography is also truly amazing. ^^  As a blogger, I can see his enthusiasm with his works. He is also not hesitant to provide answers to his readers who ask help for any topic that he knows. I am glad to discover the “Encouraging Life” blog and turtle videos.

We humans are made superior than animals. It means we are more intelligent, powerful and capable. Since we have that power, we are responsible to take care of these creatures. Everything in this world is connected. I remember that quote in “Lion King”; we are all connected in this circle called life. So humans must not be so selfish to think that they are the only creatures living in planet Earth. There are more species existing out there. There are more living creatures struggling for survival. It’s a matter of give and take. It’s a matter of balance. Let’s keep the circle of life harmoniously moving!
