Summer is here again! Mr. Sun shines boldly to the land. Outings and trips are mostly water related activities like swimming and swimming again. I am here just to give you some tips on what I do to survive this summer heat.
8 glasses of water is the ideal amount to drink daily. Water is better than softdrinks. Sometimes I drink gatorade now if it’s too hot because H20 is not enough. I also need electrolytes. I love drinking fruit shakes too during this this season! (Peach, Strawberry and more!)
2. USE SPF LOTION
If you’re going to the beach, use SPF Lotion because your skin will be exposed to direct sunlight. Protect your skin from sun burn. Even going to work, I use it especially if you’re just walking going home like me.
3. WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES
This one is common sense. Wear summer clothes if its summer. Cotton made fabrics are better. It’s important to change clothes too if you perspire a lot.
4. STAYING INSIDE AN AIR CONDITIONED ROOM
In my workplace, we don’t have AC. Anyway, it’s windy because it’s like an open house. But… Now.. as in right now APRIL… It’s so HOT. I can’t do anything about it at work. Whenever I can’t handle the heat at home, I locked myself in an air-conditioned room. Reminders : AC is not good for the environment. Please also have limit on using it.
5. PLANT A TREE / USE PLANTS FOR HOME DECORATION
Plants/Trees increase the oxygen around us. Having plants inside will help to have cooler vibes anywhere.
